Corrections policy

Substantiate corrects material errors openly. A correction notice records the article, date, original error, corrected information, and controlling evidence.

Request a review

Use the newsroom contact page and include the article URL, the specific statement at issue, and the strongest available public record.

What readers will see

Material corrections appear on the article itself. The modification date changes when the published reporting changes. Quiet spelling or formatting edits do not create a correction notice or make old reporting appear new.

Current register

No material corrections are recorded in the newsroom registry.
